Morgan County Local Emergency Planning Committee Awarded a Grant for NOAA Weather Radios

The Morgan County Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) was awarded a grant from Ascend Performance Materials for the purchase of NOAA weather radios. The Morgan County LEPC has partnered with Decatur Fire & Rescue and Hartselle Fire & Rescue to help with the distribution of the NOAA weather radios.

Hartselle Fire & Rescue will be passing out weather radios (while supplies last) during Hartselle Depot Days on September 16, 2023 from 8am-4pm. Their booth is located at Hickory St. SW and Sparkman St. SW.

Decatur Fire & Rescue will be passing out weather radios by appointment only (while supplies last). Please contact Decatur Fire & Rescue by calling 256-341-4860.
